MINTTU TAMSKI

I am a performer and cultural producer from Mikkeli who, after living in Helsinki, found my way back to the shores of Lake Saimaa for love. I work across the fields of performing arts and event production. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Management and have studied acting at the Open University of the Theatre Academy of Uniarts Helsinki.
 

My work combines artistic practice with cultural production. I work as a performer in theatre as well as in commercial and short film productions, and I teach dance and acting in amateur theatre groups. In addition to acting, my strengths include dance, singing, and the production of performances and events.
 

I have co-founded the performing arts collective Kaukasus and the South Savo Music Theatre Association Waulinko. As a producer, I have worked on several major cultural events, including the Työväen Näyttämöpäivät theatre festival, Mikkeli’s Night of the Museums, and the Hulivilikarnevaalit children’s culture festival.
 

My work is strongly rooted in community, accessibility, and the development of independent cultural activity. I also serve as Vice Chair of the South Savo Culture and Creative Industries Working Group. In 2025, I received the Cultural Award of the South Savo Regional Fund of the Finnish Cultural Foundation in recognition of my work in building cultural and creative networks.
